Couture bridal designer, Hermione de Paula's, new limited-edition collection of hand-embroidered gowns is coming to Birmingham for one weekend only.

Hermione de Paula has partnered with new luxury bridal boutique, Feathers, in Birmingham's Great Western Arcade to make her collection available to UK-wide brides who may not be able to travel to the capital. The designer is celebrated for her art-couture bridal creations, customisations and signature personalisation. VOGUE USA credited her for establishing sentimental personalisation which has since influenced bridal couture globally.

The collection will be exclusively available for brides to try on at Feathers from 13th to 16th July on an appointment-only basis. To celebrate, a discount of up to 20% will be available on select designs for orders made during the event.

The new limited-edition collection of gowns is designed to be more accessible to UK brides, which are looking for heirloom art in their wedding dress but are unable to travel to be involved in the fully bespoke service at Hermione's studio, or are working to a tighter timeframe. Alongside the new collection, the exclusive event will also feature some of Hermione's wider showstopping pieces, as well as bespoke personalised veils where a bride can add a splash of colour or personal details such as a beloved pet portrait, first dance lyric or love message around the border.

Hermione de Paula, said: "I wanted to grow a collection which would give us the opportunity to create wearable pieces of heirloom art for all our brides regardless of where they live or if they are unable to be fully involved in the bespoke process. We are really like architects in the studio, we design every dress to adapt to our bride's wedding day and her design desires. With this collection we are still able to make her personalised dream dress, but on a more streamlined process."

"It is a privilege to be able to bring Hermione de Paula's designs to Birmingham, making them more accessible to women from across the UK. The gowns are truly incredible. The level of detail in the embroidery and the opportunity to personalise them to encapsulate messages unique to the couple, is something special." - Holly Johnson, owner of Feathers
