I'm dreaming of an elegant winged eyeliner look for my big day but have zero experience with this style. How can I achieve this?

Gemma says: To achieve this look, I'd recommend lots of practice and don't be afraid to make a mistake. I also find the best way to achieve this is to move the eyeliner quickly rather than slowly.

Firstly, make sure you invest in a good liner – I like to use NARS Eyeliner Stylo, which is more like a felt tip. Frame the liner out across the lid first and then pull the eyelid taught, before aiming to take the flick in a diagonal line up towards the end of the eyebrow.

Once this step is done on both eyes, step back and check that both sides look equal, then go back in with a liquid liner to strengthen the black pigment and add to the sharpness of the line. I recommend Guerlain liquid eyeliner in Noir – finish the look off with a volumising mascara and a few individual lashes to give it that extra glam touch.
