We spoke to Sutton Coldfield-based celebrant, Louise Goode from No Ordinary Celebrant to find out more about her company.

"It’s been an amazing year with perhaps the highlight being my trip to Crete to do a pirate-themed wedding on a ship in the Bay of Heraklion. It was wonderful to create a themed script full of laughs and guest participation and add all the finishing touches, like a treasure map certificate and ancient-style ceremony script. I loved taking on a role and dressing up, the only thing missing was Johnny Depp, but perhaps that was a good thing or I might have died of joy!

"I’m looking really forward to working with more couples and planners who have concepts for weddings that require a celebrant that isn’t afraid to get stuck right in.

"Another highlight was our Midsummer Night's styled shoot at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens, which exceeded our best hopes and dreams. It combined everything I love. The shoot highlighted nature, was slightly edgy with classical styles and tradition, simultaneously passionate, delicate and striking and, of course joyful. We can’t wait to show you our next one, which will be all about legends with a magical glimpse of 15th-16th century romance.

"If you're a couple that likes to do things a little differently, get in touch. I’d love to hear your dreams and make them a reality."
