The Durham Ox is a country pub located within five acres of land. The grounds are home to five classic tan Nordic weatherproof tipis which are decorated with wooden beams, fairylights, round tables and white chairs or picnic tables. The grounds have two outside bars, The Little Ox has its own covered terrace, and the horsebox bar, which is located on the front terrace, has extensive seating.
CELEBRATE IN STYLE
The venue isn’t licensed for ceremonies, but drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts and dancing can take place in the five tipis.
The Little Ox bar can be used as a further seating area, and there’s a chill-out tipi for guests to relax in.

There’s a love swing on the front lawn and a large car park available. The venue also offers a range of catering options, from budget-friendly packages to platinum options.
