After a flood meant this shoot had to be re-arranged, the team worked hard to create this set of images
“We had been planning this shoot, with a much wider supplier list, for a few months,” says photographer Grace Dove. “However, the week before the shoot, there was a lot of flooding, which completely threw our plans. A lot of the suppliers ended up having to pull out, but the few of us remaining were determined to make it happen, even with the weather not on our side! Within 24 hours, we completely reorganised the shoot, going from doing the whole thing at Bennetts Willow Barn, whose grounds were flooded, to just doing prep there and driving to the Malvern Hills for an epic elopement shoot at the end of the day. Everyone mucked in, and it was a real team effort. We kept the original plan of a botanical/green theme by incorporating foliage into the bouquets and tablescape.
“With the Malvern Hills, we wanted an adventure, boho feel, which we created with the bride’s walking boots, the flowercrown and denim jacket. It was the most incredible day and showed that if there is a will, there’s a way, no matter what the obstacle!”
