How to incorporate flowers into your hair style
"I love adding fresh flowers into a bride’s hair as it looks elegant and beautiful. To incorporate flowers, you need to consider how it will work with your style. If you’re planning on having a low or high bun, neat or messy, your flowers need to last all day and be secure. I advise my brides to speak to their florist to organise their hair flowers. A florist will be able to wrap the flower stems onto a wire to make them stronger so they can be attached to your locks. If you have photos of your trial to show the florist, they will then be able to see the size of flower needed to fit in with your style.
"For a down or half-up look, fresh blooms can look soft and elegant placed at the back of the hair or even just gripping one side so you can see the flowers from the front.
"Another option is to wear a flower crown. This look is becoming more and more popular and has a spring/summer feel. This can be worn with the hair down and loose or an up do with loose tendrils coming down.
"Instead of fresh flowers, dried versions can look very effective too. Although, be aware that as lovely as it all looks, it can be very difficult to attach it without some of the tiny petals breaking off. If you don’t want to spend too much, a simple clipping of gypsophila can create a delicate look or be used for decorating the bridesmaids’ hair."
