"Your wedding cake is one of the most important parts of your wedding and will be something that your guests will remember, so it’s essential you find the perfect supplier. Here are some things to consider before booking:
"Do they offer cake samples? You can normally choose up to six flavours depending on your cake designer. Make sure to mention any allergies and dietary requirements.
"Can they design a cake in the style you want? Ask to see examples of their previous work and check reviews on Google and Facebook. Feel free to ask for referrals if you want to be 100 per cent sure they’re right for you.
"Do they have sufficient experience to create your desired bake and the necessary food hygiene certificates? Are they registered with public liability insurance? Do they deliver your order and set it up for you at a specific time?
"See if they offer payment plans or easy payment options. Some suppliers let you make monthly or quarterly payments with an initial deposit to save the date.
"Most importantly, make sure you feel safe and comfortable with your designer before committing."
