The Durham Ox is a country pub located within five acres of land. The grounds are home to five classic Nordic weatherproof tipis which are decorated with wooden beams, fairylights, round tables and white chairs. The tipis and the front canopy area are covered in classic tan tenting, the picnic benches are wooden, and there’s plenty of seating in the terrace areas. There is also an outside bar with seating and a horsebox bar that can be moved around if needed.

Celebrate in style
The venue isn’t licensed for ceremonies, but the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and dancing can take place in the five tipis.

The Little Ox bar can be used as a seating area, and there’s a chill-out tipi often used for the bride to change in or for older guests to relax in.

There’s a love swing on the front lawn, a covered lawn and a large car park. The venue also offers a range of catering options, from budget- friendly packages to platinum options.
