Charlotte and Dan first met in high school. “I was attracted to him but never thought he would look twice at me,” shares Charlotte. “We started talking on social media in 2015 and haven’t been apart since.”
Dan popped the question at a restaurant in Birmingham. “It had all been planned with the establishment before we arrived,” says the bride. “After the meal, when our puddings were served, written on my plate was ‘will you marry me?’ Our song started playing over the speakers, and Dan presented the ring to me and said ‘what do you say then?’ Everyone cheered, and the staff arrived with champagne. I hate being the centre of attention, so I was a little embarrassed, but it was a lovely moment.”
