Find out more about RubyBelle Events and their upcoming wedding market
We spoke to Becci Picketts the owner of RubyBelle Events to find out more about her business and upcoming wedding market.
Becci says: "Have you ever arrived at a wedding fair, all excited and ready to be inspired, only to be instantly underwhelmed by the scene that greets you? Rows of 6ft trestle tables covered with creased white tablecloths and littered with leaflets. It’s not a great start to your wedding planning! RubyBelle Events wedding markets are here to change all of that!
"We organise a specially curated marketplace showcasing not only traditional wedding suppliers but the talented local artisan makers, designers, and creative small businesses who will help you inject more of your personality into your wedding day, right down to the very smallest, personal touches and details.
"The perfect place to source a bespoke, handcrafted piece of jewellery, a local supplier to create a bouquet made of paper flowers featuring your favourite books, or even a specially commissioned hand-drawn image of your wedding venue.
"The wedding markets do not simply enable browsing, but create an authentic shopping experience for like-minded couples, allowing you to purchase unique personal touches that will truly reflect who you are on your wedding day. No one item they produce is exactly identical, so each product is unique to its owner! All of the excitement of a wedding fair, with the added buzz of buying at an artisan craft market!
“I love to shop local. I love the pride that small business owners have for their products. Products that have been created with their heart and soul, from their kitchen table or home studio rather than a large faceless factory.”
"The Artisan Wedding Market offers you the opportunity to shop directly with a fabulous community of local independent creative businesses, artisan makers, designers, and wedding suppliers who I love and trust from all over the Midlands, all from the comfort of your own home! While face-to-face events are not allowed to take place, taking the Artisan Wedding Market Online allows me to ensure I am continuing to support our wonderful wedding industry at a time of year when they should be out showcasing their talents at weddings. So, get ready to relax on the sofa with your wedding list to browse and shop small!"
