We interview Shropshire catering company, Fig & Folk

We interview Shropshire catering company, Fig & Folk: Image 1 We interviewed Katie, the founder of catering company, Fig & Folk to find out more about her business.

She tells us: "After a year spent travelling the magical wanders of Australia, including Byron Bay – a place that will always remain close to my heart and where I first saw the grazing trend begin, I took inspiration from the Australasia culture and with my love for food and creativity, I decided to bring this piece of bohemian magic back home to mid wales – where Fig & Folk was born.

"Our ethos is to create unforgettable experiences. To redefine the way people eat, using the finest local suppliers that deliver the freshest tasting produce, from speciality cheeses, cured meats, artisan breads to exotic fresh fruits, nuts, honeycomb and delicious locally made sweets treats that will undeniably make your mouth water.

"We strongly believe that there is something remarkable about food. It allows people to come together and provides a backdrop for some of the most cherished and interconnected times in our lives.

"Fig & Folk not only provide lavish spreads with an abundance of food, combining new flavours and textures but we make it our aim to showcase a visual masterpiece that is not only flavoursome but a true delight to make your event stand out from the crowd.

"Small or large events, we can create your vision and make it happen. Specialising in fully-styled tables for events such as weddings and baby showers to platters for smaller gatherings such as a sunset picnic on the beach.

"Lastly, Fig & Folk are about bringing people together to create conversations and memories. Most importantly, we are about creating sensational experiences through the art of grazing."
