Incorporating gold into your make-up

"Golds are very on-trend at the moment, whether it be metallic, glittery or rose gold. Metallics can be sophisticated if applied appropriately, so don’t overlook the high glamour embellishment and modernity that they bring to your wedding make-up.

"Rose gold can work beautifully with a soft, smoky eye using brown and cream tones, finished off by applying a small amount of rose gold shimmer into the inside corner of your eye. If you think this look won’t work with your vintage gown, think again!

"Follow these steps to create a wow-factor look:

"Wear it with a natural or nude lip.

"Highlighter must be applied lightly as not to look too futuristic.

"Creme or a matte lip works best.

"Only ever take the metallic shadow to your crease line.

"Always prepare your lid with a primer or cream shadow if you’re using a powder shadow.

"Line your eyes and add lashes or more mascara as your eyes will disappear without it.

"Blend the edge with a transition colour to make it more seamless."
