The Belfry Hotel & Resort, situated in the heart of the country in Royal Sutton Coldfield, North Warwickshire, has reopened its spa and leisure facilities.

The spa has launched a variety of new packages for guests to enjoy for a much-needed post-lockdown treat. Spa treatments include The Belfry Spa’s relaxing 60-minute inner calm massage, 60-minute wellness experience or a 30-mintue invigorating foot treatment.

New spa day packages, available to book from Saturday 25th July, include the Retreat Spa Day, priced from £99 per person, offering a mindful workshop, one hour use of the pool, afternoon tea, and a 45-minute Retreat Treatment including a back, neck and shoulder massage with warm aromatherapy oils, and the Tranquil Spa Break, priced from £139 per person, including an overnight stay, breakfast, dinner and a 45-minute spa treatment which includes a deep cleansing back treatment, luxury hand and arm experience, or a classic manicure or pedicure.

From 25th July, The Belfry’s indoor swimming pool will reopen with a new booking system in operation to control capacity. The Belfry Leisure Club will reopen on 27th July with a new look. The gym floor has been redesigned to create one-way routes and to space out cardio and resistance equipment to provide guests with effective and safe workout areas. Perspex protective screens have been placed in between cardio equipment and indoor class sizes have been reduced and re-choreographed to ensure safer participation. A number of classes will also take place amongst The Belfry’s extensive outdoor spaces.

Chris Eigelaar, General Manager at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, said: “We are thrilled to be able to reopen more areas of the resort. The safety of our guests and our team is our number one priority, so we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure we exceed all safety protocols in every area of the resort.

“We have implemented a number of new technologies to ensure our guests feel safe while visiting us. For example, we have introduced 'Aera Max IV' , a clean air solution, in the cycling studios in the gym to ensure a steady flow of clean air, and in the spa we will have additional enhanced cleaning regimes in place throughout the day with areas also being sanitised weekly using an electrostatic gun. We are very excited to welcome our guests back whether they are visiting to use our state-of-the-art gym equipment for a workout or for a well-deserved relaxing spa experience.”
