A bold and vibrant wedding shoot, with lush jungle greenery, vibrant blooms and zesty punches of colour

Bringing together a hugely creative entrance to a long-lost tropical village, the décor. Additionally, Louise Price Hair group of talented individuals, this same sex bridal shoot was all about fun vibes, clashing tones, opulence, and just a smidge of added whimsy,” shares the team behind Twigs Branch Photography Paul and Suzie.

“We knew from the outset we wanted to create something that would stand out against the beautifully quirky and chic interior at Garthmyl, whilst also showcasing our team of local wedding suppliers.

“With tropical opulence, aka ‘tropulence’ looking to be one of the biggest wedding trends for 2020, we wanted to put our own spin on this striking style. Dynamic duo Cat, from Ginger Moon Wedding and Event Hire, and Denise, owner at Ginger Lily Florist, came up with the initial concept of an using a birch arch, with broken pots and urns creating an earthy contrast against the bright colours of the blooms and foliage.

“The look relied heavily upon ‘bringing the outside in’ with striking florals and all elements seamlessly weaving the theme throughout: a bright and colourful biodegradable confetti mix, courtesy of Shropshire Petals, Jennifer from My little Wedding Shop created two unique bridal gowns especially for the shoot, the dresses were set off beautifully with accessories from Adorn by Ashley who provided a textured veil with bold leaf embellishment, Steph from SJM Beauty created two striking looks for our models, from a fresh, springtime palette that echoed the tones of the lush greenery and bright florals in Design completed the look with two playful, yet soft hairstyles, finished off with an extravagant flower crown and coordinating single bloom which played into the fun and frivolity of the theme; the bold vibe continued through into the stationery, designed by Anna from award-winning Evelyn & Elliot working harmoniously with the striking cake and cake pops created by Caroline from Hunkington House Kitchen.

“Finally, from a photography POV we were really interested in how we could play the bold, bright tones of the tropical theme against varying levels of light and shadow. It was important to us that each section of the shoot retain its own individual look and feel, whilst still being able to sit harmoniously as a complete set of images.”
