Moor Hall is a beautiful country house-style hotel set at the end of a long tree-lined drive. It boasts sweeping lawns, natural woodlands and historic sunken garden, all provide picturesque backdrops to wedding photographs. The sunken garden is a magical historical setting with its sweeping double stone staircase, stunning fountain centrepiece and Victorian grottos – you can tie the knot al fresco here with 180 loved ones.

The beautiful oak panelling and open fires lend Moor Hall a real country house atmosphere for nuptials; couples can opt to tie the knot in the Charter Suite or Bracebridge Suite. The Charter Suite is an elegant and spacious ground-floor room with its own direct entrance from the car park, separate bar and surrounding conservatory overlooking the gardens. It can cater for up to 180 ceremony and wedding breakfast guests (250 in the evening) and has a neutral gold, cream and grey palette, a stylish bar, luxurious contemporary lighting and furnishings make a fabulous setting.

The Bracebridge Room is upon the first floor and caters for up to 60 and overlooks the stunning surrounding parkland.

As well as The Charter Suite, post-vows couples can also choose the The Oak Room restaurant. It has sweeping views over the surrounding parkland and is perfect for wedding receptions of 30 to 60 guests. Smaller wedding celebrations can be catered for in style in either the Bracebridge or Longmoor rooms. Both rooms are on the first floor and offer stunning views.

Moor Halls’ new Wedding Preparation Suite is an elegant and unique space perfectly suited to serve as a bride or groom’s base as they prepare for their big day. The room has a double bed and sofa bed, large mirrors with lots of lighting and plenty of dressing table space for make up and hair stylists. There is a connecting room too so it is the bride can enjoy a pre-wedding sleep over with her bridesmaids.

What’s more, the modern and relaxing spa is the perfect place to unwind before or after the big day. The facilities include an indoor pool with spa bath, sauna and steam room, refurbished gym, and four treatment rooms – including a double treatment room.

When tying the knot here, couples can enjoy a free overnight stay and menu tasting.
