Five minutes with Shropshire wedding boutique owner Jennifer

Jennifer Bone, of My Little Wedding Shop in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, tells us all about her charming boutique and its wedding dress and accessory offering for brides-to-be in search of the one.

"This established boutique offers an exceptional experience to their brides with every gown being uniquely designed and crafted in Shropshire," says Jennifer. "My gowns are designed to reflect the personality of the bride as each gown is designed in partnership, bringing ideas together, exploring fabrics and drawing on my experience and flair for design.
"The boutique also offers its own unique bridalwear collections for brides to try on and explore silhouettes, colours and fabrics. These designs are created from exceptional silks, laces, crepes and chiffons and demonstrate the quality, fit and comfort that are the key components to the team's design ethos."

Founded by Jennifer Bone whose years of experience in the world of theatrical costume brings a twist to tradition, this beautiful and welcoming boutique opened in 2011 and has developed quite a reputation with brides travelling from across the UK and even from as far as Australia and across Europe, to have their wedding dress created by Jennifer and her team.

Designers in stock? "All of the gowns available through My little Wedding Shop are handmade in Shropshire and are exclusive to the boutique. We stock our own My little Wedding Shop collections which are made-to-measure for our brides and range in price from £1,450 - £2,500 which can be viewed on our website," adds Jennifer. "We also offer a bespoke bridal design service with gowns ranging from £1,000 - £2,750."

What top tip would you give to brides when dress shopping? "I think the most important thing is to be yourself," shares Jennifer. "Your wedding dress should reflect your personality and your own style, this ensures that you will feel relaxed and comfortable and allow you to enjoy every moment of your wedding day. Your perfect dress will make you feel spectacular and allow your own beauty to shine through.

What's your favourite dress in your collection? "This is a very difficult question to answer but currently I would choose Lovely Luna from our latest Stardust & Silver Collection which is one of our designs that can be easily changed from day to evening as the lace cost is removable and the simplicity of the dress underneath, can be accessorised to fit any theme."
