Hayley Robinson, 29, married Nick Crawley, 31, at Swallows Nest Barn, Warwick, on the 17th June, 2017.
Because my dress was blush with ivory detailing, I wanted the bridesmaids to stand out as much as possible. In the end I opted for beaded wedding dresses from Debenhams.
Nick and the groomsmen had a blue suit with a grey tweed waistcoat to fit in with the relaxed and rustic theme.
For me my dress was one of the most important aspects of the day. I saw a Inbal Dror design on Pinterest and had it shipped from Israel to Kathy De Stafford in Dublin. I loved that it was blush with ivory lace detail and only accessorised with earrings and a bracelet.
We wanted a venue that was exclusive to us and we quickly worked out that a barn setting would be ideal. We loved Swallows Nest at first viewing, with its beautiful features, relaxed atmosphere and total flexibility.
Instead of serving wedding cake we had Krispy Kreme doughnuts, which were displayed on a made-to-measure 7ft wall so our guests could help themselves throughout the evening. We ordered 300 and by the end of the night they were all gone.
Nick's nephew was our pageboy and stole the show when he walked down the aisle.
We had a mixture of neutral flowers and lots of foliage. The bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets contained a hint of blush to match my dress but all other flowers were kept white. Our main flower arrangements were two large hanging flower wreaths from the ceiling of the barn and a seven-metre archway, which made the barn smell amazing.
We had a simple two-tier buttercream cake made for the cutting ceremony.
I'd have been genuinely upset if our dog, Hugo, hadn't been able to make the day. A friend brought him up during the drinks reception for a couple of pictures but unfortunately it was so hot for him he couldn't stay too long.
The moment from the day that really stands out is Nick and I dancing in the courtyard during cocktail hour to Tom Fitzpatrick. We had envisioned that it would be a relaxed drinks reception but we never knew how much it would get the party started.
Because our wedding was on the hottest day of the year our photographer did a lot of our photos later on once it had cooled down. This was a nice opportunity for me and Nick to go off and have photos and catch our breath.
