I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working on this issue of Your West Midlands Wedding. It’s full to the brim of inspiration from across the region. Couples looking to tie the knot in this area are really spoilt for choice, from a city-chic wedding in Birmingham, to countryside nuptials in Worcestershire there’s a variety of locations to suit whatever your tastes. That’s what this issue really highlights, the contrast of modern urban settings with beautiful countryside surroundings.

Dunchurch Park Hotel & Conference Centre
Dunchurch Park is a Grade II listed manor house steeped in history, located in the idyllic village of Dunchurch, Warwickshire. This beautiful red brick manor is nestled within 72 acres of landscaped gardens designed by the Victorian landscape architect, Thomas Mawson and boasts sweeping lawns, a lake and countryside views – perfect backdrops for photographs.
Recently refurbished in 2019, it has retained a traditional feel yet with an added contemporary twist.
All rooms benefit from natural light from the large, original feature windows and with the high ceilings this emphasises the light and airy feel.
For nuptials, The Great Hall hosts 200 and has chandeliers and views onto the gardens. For even bigger gatherings, The Garden Rooms – set in the Victorian walled gardens, a self-contained venue, with its own reception and bar area – has a capacity of 300 guests. The Draycote Suite, a modern extension to the main house, connecting to the bar bistro and mezzanine dining area, also hosts 300.
For smaller ‘I dos’ The Billiard Room, The Drawing Room and The Lounge can accommodate up to 60 friends and family and all boast original features and stunning views.
The celebrations can be hosted in any of the following The Great Hall, The Garden Rooms, The Billiard Room, The Drawing Room, The Lounge, The Draycote Suite and Marwsons Marquee for up to 200, 320, 40, 60, 40, 150 and 450 guests respectively.
When booking Dunchurch Park Hotel, couples can enjoy a free menu tasting, a complimentary Bridal Suite the night of the wedding, and use of a Master of Ceremonies.
Whilst staying at Dunchurch Park Hotel, guests can enjoy the onsite facilities such as five-a-side football or six-hole, three-par Pitch ‘n’ Putt golf or simply relax and unwind in one of the lounges, bars or enjoy afternoon tea on the terraced overlooking the grounds.
