Firstly, I hope all of our readers have been keeping well during this surreal, unprecedented time.
It would be hard for me to not mention the dreaded c-word, however, I admire how everyone, no matter how badly they have been effected, has come together to help and support one another.
The tide will start turning, and we can all begin to re-plan cancelled weddings, re-book honeymoons and get back to our wonderful world of weddings – supporting local couples and businesses finding their feet again!
This issue, will hopefully give you some light relief, and offer up some inspiration for your weddings at the end of this year and beyond.
Our styled shoots this issue offer ideas aplenty, from rustic details to bold black and white colour schemes – be sure to check those out!
With summer soon on our doorstep, these venues over on page 21 have some glorious gardens and picture-perfect outdoor settings.
Talking about picture-perfect, we get to know local photographers from the area, from what inspired them to become professionals to their top wedding tips – it’s a great read over on page 62.

Billesley Manor & Spa
From its location in idyllic Warwickshire, Billesley Manor is surrounded by roaming country estates, picturesque market towns, peaceful countryside vistas, and historic places of interest, not to mention being within easy reach of the Cotswolds themselves.
Dating back to Elizabethan times, the historic hotel is set in 11 acres of beautiful grounds, including 100-year-old Topiary Gardens and an 11th-century church where Shakespeare is believed to have married his wife, Anne Hathaway.
Dating back to the 16th century, Billesley Manor boasts traditional English interiors with oak panelling, tapestries, open fires and delicately painted ceiling mouldings lend the property an elegant yet homely feel, with common areas recently having been refurbished to further establish the hotel as a luxury venue.
There are four event spaces for ceremonies and receptions including the ornate Topiary Garden − with more than 100 years of history – the Topiary Suite, the Stuart Restaurant and the Library. Two of the rooms date from the 16th century, giving your day a unique atmosphere and sense of occasion.
The Topiary Suite hosts 125 ceremony guests and 110 post-vows, the Library 20 and 18, Stuart Restaurant 60 and 45 and the Topiary Garden 120. The latter takes inspiration from the giant chess pieces featured in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland; built from yew trees, it provides ample space to bask in the serenity of post-vow bliss.
Billesley Manor’s dedicated wedding specialists are there to help you plan every step of the way, from flowers and catering to décor and entertainment, as well as to provide practical advice and support on the day itself. A menu tasting is offered on a complimentary basis for the couple.
