More about Huben Travel...
It's a dynamic new premium travel agency for the LGBTQ+ community offering holidaymakers a distinctive 'Two Voices, Your Choices' approach.
Set up by Surrey-based husbands Hugh and Ben Eddon-Carruthers, Huben Travel will specialise in tailor-making personalised, high-quality travel itineraries that include two sets of recommendations for clients, reflecting Hugh and Ben's differing interests and preferred travel styles. "Most travellers, and especially couples, have learned that the perfect holiday is usually about compromise," says Ben."We'll take the time to get to know the customer, listen closely to their requirements, do our research and come up with the perfect itinerary for them.

"Each new Huben Travel customer will be offered the chance to complete an optional quick and easy travel personality questionnaire so that Hugh and Ben can learn more about their specific holiday needs and interests. The responses will assist the duo in researching appropriate holiday options and presenting each customer with a bespoke outline itinerary that includes two sets of recommendations to choose between.
"We call it 'Two Voices, Your Choices'," explains Hugh. "Ben's all about nature, relaxing by the pool and going with the flow, while I love a schedule, the buzz of a city and making sure we tick off all the iconic attractions.
"Most couples and even families are the same – a holiday is only great if everyone loves it. By taking this dual approach we'll be able to offer our clients a variety of practical ideas to turn their own trips into holidays-of-a-lifetime."
With successful backgrounds in finance and the arts, and having spent years travelling the world in style, Hugh and Ben's own experiences convinced them that there was a gap in the market for a premium LGBTQ+ travel service.

Huben Travel - taking you out for dinner: Image 4 The couple decided to create their own dedicated agency with a clear vision: to provide the LGBTQ+ community with travel that has been crafted for them, by them or with them in mind. Using their personal experiences as a guide, Hugh and Ben are now excited to share their passion for travel with other LGBTQ+ travellers and to offer a personalised, innovative and inclusive service.
An IGLTA and Gay European Tourism Association member, Huben Travel is already working with some of the UK's best upscale tour operators including Carrier and Lusso to offer tailor-made short and long-haul trips including honeymoons, package holidays, tours and cruises.
For 2021 Hugh and Ben will also host their own tours and plan to further develop their own travel products over time.Realising that for LGBTQ+ travellers the smallest details often make the biggest difference, Hugh and Ben will only craft adventures that they would be happy to go on too, and crucially, will only recommend destinations and products that offer their clients a safe, welcoming and inclusive holiday experience. "In the current travel climate, it's never been more important to book with a travel agent who understands what you need and can offer you a truly personalised, tailor-made experience," adds Ben.
