R&R Luxury: Introducing Chapter 10 - The Sustainable Era

In addition to commercial success, R&R Luxury has become a pioneer in inspiring change in local communities in Ghana, with ethical sourcing shaping the brand’s ethos. The Women of the Savannah Development Project (WSDP) was set up by Valerie to support local shea farmers in rural Ghana, 90 per cent of whom are underprivileged women. Through this organisation, R&R Luxury provides health, safety and business training to these women to help break the poverty cycle and keep the supply chain as local and transparent as possible.

Alongside social sustainability, R&R Luxury is also committed to preserving nature by using pure, locally sourced ingredients. Products use 100 per cent natural shea butter, harvested directly from Northern Ghana and the sumptuous, indulgent skincare products continue to be sourced and created with consideration and purpose.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, R&R Luxury is not only commemorating accomplishments so far but looking ahead to what can be achieved in the next decade - Chapter 10: The Sustainable Era. Although R&R Luxury is already a model of sustainability in many ways, Valerie and the brand are committed to exploring how they can develop their key sustainability practices even further.
