August/September 2018

I’m all about the floral prints, not a day goes by where my attire isn’t flower related – I just can’t get enough! When everyone was questioning which designer the new Duchess of Sussex would be wearing – did anyone guess Givenchy? No, we didn’t either, but didn’t she look gorgeous? I was keen to know whether there was going to be peonies, camellias, roses, sweet Williams or the ever traditional sprig of myrtle included in the bridal bouquet and I’m not going to lie to you, I teared up a little as the nation was told Harry had picked some blooms from their garden in Kensington Palace himself – Meghan’s a lucky lady. Here at Your West Midlands Wedding HQ we want to wish the newlyweds the happiest of lives together.

From colour charts to styling, honeymoons to fashion, we’re here to guide you along the way in your own wedding journey. This issue’s fashion editor Claire showcases a plethora of gorgeous gowns from the industry’s emerging designers on page 73. Or, turn to page 79 if you want to see the latest must-have colour accessories.

Finally, you might notice a few changes in this issue, but the most exciting of all is that going forward each and every one of our magazines will feature three inspirational local real weddings, which you can find on pages 35, 42 and 49 respectively.

Tern Hill Hall

Tern Hill Hall is perfectly located within private grounds at the end of a long driveway showcasing views across the Shropshire Hills. The hall boasts a traditional brick façade with The Ballroom and Orangery surrounded by lawns and gardens – ideal for an al fresco drinks reception. The interior is sympathetically decorated in stylish, neutral tones, which is great for couples who want to put their stamp on the space.

Your nuptials can be held in The Orangery, with its large bi-folding door which opens on to the Gardens followed by a wedding breakfast for up to 90 guests.

The Ballroom and bar can be opened up into The Orangery to create one large room that can seat up to 240 friends and family. Alternatively it can provide a separate area with a private bar to use for your meal or evening celebrations.

Last but not least is the Dining Room, it’s ideal for intimate weddings offering views over the gardens for up to 50 of your nearest and dearest.
